Nick Boles and Simon Hughes on coalition manifestos

Conservative MP Nick Boles said he was "a big fan of the coalition" but was probably a lone voice when it came to a possible electoral pact.

Liberal Democrat deputy leader Simon Hughes said his party would be "more careful" with its manifesto, as it might have to work with Conservatives or Labour and was less likely to attack other parties.

They spoke after a Daily Politics film looked at how the coalition agreement was likely to see more general manifestos at the next general election.
