Minister Nick Herbert: Strike is 'unnecessary and futile'

Ministers confirmed they would press ahead with the reforms in the Queen's Speech.

Home Office Minister Nick Herbert described the strike as ''unnecessary and futile'' and said the proposals for pensions are fair.
