Stop short-changing young sports stars, says Major

The former Prime Minister Sir John Major says future British Olympians are being "short-changed" by schools.

Sir John, who created the National Lottery, said schools had progressively abandoned physical training, depriving children of an important part of their education.

He told 5 liveBreakfast that providing specialist sports teachers should be an important national priority as Britain looks to develop its next generation of Olympic sportsmen and women.
