GCSE results to be reviewed by Ofqual

The exams regulator Ofqual is to look again at GCSE gradings amid claims that thousands of students have been treated unfairly.

The move comes amid threats of legal action from local authorities and teachers.

They are complaining that English entries were particularly unfair with a change in grade boundaries between January and June in England and Wales.
