Heathrow third runway: Tory MP Yeo urges Cameron to act

Conservative MP Tim Yeo has called on David Cameron to back expansion at Heathrow, saying the business case for a third runway now outweighs the case against it.

In an article in the Daily Telegraph, Mr Yeo, who backs expansion, urged the Prime Minister do decide whether he is a "man or a mouse" over the issue.

It had been suggested some ministers were reconsidering their opposition, although Transport Secretary Justine Greening said there was a "political consensus" against a new runway.
