Prof Michael Clarke on UK troops leaving Afghanistan

While many are pessimistic about Afghanistan's future when British and US troops leave in 2014, the director of the Royal United Services Institute has brighter hopes for its future.

Rather than predicting a Taliban takeover, chaos, and bloodshed, Prof Michael Clarke explained how cigarette papers have been used between the rival sides to prevent battles and why there are possible political deals ahead.
