Israel, Gaza, Syria, Europe round-up with Ann Leslie

The Daily Mail's Ann Leslie drew on her time spent reporting on wars, in her round-up of the international news of the week.

She said Western forces should not go "blundering" into Middle East conflicts and warned "those harrowing scenes will not stop" just because these forces go in to try and help.

Dame Ann looked at the scenes from Israel, Gaza and Syria and claimed that war was "hideously photogenic".
