Finucane murder: PM David Cameron rules out public inquiry
Prime Minister David Cameron has ruled out a full public inquiry into the murder of of Belfast solicitor Pat Finucane.
His statement follows the publication of Sir Desmond de Silva's review which confirmed that agents of the state were involved in the 1989 killing, and that it should have been prevented.
However, the report concluded that there was "no overarching state conspiracy".
Mr Cameron said that, rather than focusing on an inquiry, "what matters is getting to the truth".
