Jack Straw: Tighter gun laws 'reduce risk'

As the US mourns 26 people killed at a school in Connecticut, former UK Home Secretary Jack Straw has said tighter gun laws do reduce the risk of such tragedies.

Friday's attack in Newtown has reignited the gun debate in America, with President Obama calling for "meaningful action" against gun crime.

Mr Straw's comments came as he spoke to The Andrew Marr Show.
