Paddy Ashdown: 'I opposed most of what Thatcher did'

Former Liberal Democrats' leader Paddy Ashdown has paid tribute to the late Baroness Thatcher describing her as "a loss to politics".

Lord Ashdown said he "opposed her in most of the things she did" and added that she was a "better destroyer than a builder".

But he said she was responsible for dragging Britain into the 20th Century.
