Three peers 'offered to lobby for fake firm'

The Labour Party has suspended two members of the House of Lords amid an investigation into claims they breached parliamentary rules.

Action has been taken against Lord Cunningham and Lord Mackenzie, and by the Ulster Unionist party against one of its peers - Lord Laird.

All three were approached by undercover reporters posing as lobbyists and appeared willing to carry out parliamentary work for payment. They all deny any wrongdoing.

Carole Walker reports.
