David Cameron: Government agrees on press reform

The Prime Minister has insisted both government parties are united over plans to regulate the press.

A group of senior politicians rejected the newspaper industry's version of a royal charter on Tuesday, saying the proposals were flawed.

But sub-committee chair Danny Alexander insisted no decision had been made.

David Cameron insisted there was "agreement across government".
