Russia has made a long term miscalculation, says Hague

Foreign Secretary William Hague said Russia's attempt to annexe Crimea would prove to be a "big miscalculation over time" and added the long term consequences for Moscow would be "very significant".

Speaking on the Andrew Marr Show, he said Europe would "recast" its economic relationship with Russia, including reducing its reliance on Russian gas supplies.
