Cameron: Farage 'not normal bloke down the pub'

Prime Minister David Cameron has maintained that the Conservative Party can win the 2015 general election outright, despite coming third in the latest European poll.

Mr Cameron told the Today programme that the public was "disillusioned" with the EU and their message had been "received and understood".

He added that he did not think the image of Farage as a "normal bloke down the pub" was correct.

First broadcast on BBC Radio 4's Today programme on Monday 26 May.
