Lord Heseltine: 'Tory pact with UKIP would be mad'

Lord Heseltine has said that a pact between the Conservative Party and UKIP would be "mad" and would split the Tory party.

In an interview with BBC Newsnight, Lord Heseltine said that despite the results of the European elections, UKIP would not be a force in next year's general election.

Jeremy Paxman started by asking whether the mainstream parties should listen to UKIP voters.
