Nigel Farage unhappy Panorama interviews former UKIP members

UKIP has made big strides in 2014 by winning the European elections, attracting defecting Tory MPs and getting its first seat in Westminster.

Panorama has been on the trail of the party's leader Nigel Farage.

Reporter Darragh MacIntyre approached him at the EU Parliament to ask why he would not give an interview.

Mr Farage was unhappy that Panorama had been talking to former UKIP members - what he calls the "dregs of rejects".

You can watch Panorama: The Farage Factor on BBC1 at 20:30 on Monday 13th October.
