Jack Straw: 'Never complicit' in illegal rendition or torture

Former Foreign Secretary Jack Straw has said he was "never complicit" in the illegal rendition or torture of terrorism suspects during his time in office.

Speaking to the BBC, the Labour MP said he has applied himself "assiduously" to his legal obligations.

A US Senate report into the CIA has found "brutal" treatment of suspects.

A parliamentary committee has asked the US to hand over any material documenting the UK's role in the CIA's post-9/11 interrogation programme.
