Autumn Statement set to be 'low key'

The Autumn Statement on Wednesday is set to be "low key" according to Conservative MP Stephen Hammond - who is close to Chancellor Philip Hammond.

He told BBC Newsnight's political editor Nicholas Watt that the Chancellor will hold back until there is "greater clarity" on the progress of the economy following the Brexit vote - which he said would likely be at the time of the Budget.
