Angela Rayner: Government 'cooking the books'
The Shadow Education Secretary has criticised the Government's proposed education reforms. Angela Rayner accused them of "cooking the books" on research into social mobility.
She told the Today programme the government had not found enough evidence to support the creation of more grammar schools. But Education Secretary Justine Greening refuted those claims and said they wanted all grammar schools to change their admissions policy to allow access to more children from disadvantaged backgrounds.
