Brexit committee: UK should think about staying in EEA

The UK should consider remaining in the European Economic Area after Brexit - paying into the EU to keep access to the single market, the Brexit committee has said.

Hilary Benn, chair of the Brexit committee, told the Today programme that the government accepts it must maintain "pretty close alignment", otherwise it risks "losing access" to "a market that is pretty important to us".
