Clegg: ‘No plan’ from Leave to cut immigration

The Leave campaign has no meaningful plan to bring down UK immigration in the event of Brexit, according to Nick Clegg.

Speaking to Today programme presenter Justin Webb, the former deputy prime minister said that the campaign "could not agree at all" about whether, for example, to close the land border to the EU in Ireland.

Migration is "a fact of life that we need to deal with", he said.
