Firefighters tackle large blaze in central Glasgow

Around 80 firefighters are tackling a large blaze near the south bank of the River Clyde in Glasgow which has seen neighbouring buildings evacuated.

Fire crews were called to the former Co-operative Funeral Service building, just before 14:00 GMT.

The blaze, which has sent smoke billowing across the city skyline, has also affected the nearby M8 and M74 motorways.
