Scotland to receive extra £433m from UK chancellor

Scotland has been allocated an extra £433m for new roads, schools and other capital spending.

The increase was announced as part of the Chancellor George Osborne's Autumn Statement, delivered to the House of Commons.

Scottish Finance Secretary, John Swinney, said the move fell far short of what was needed to boost the economy.
