Titanic: Dumfries classmates remembered

The 100th anniversary of the maiden and only voyage of the Titanic will be marked around the world.

Several Scots, including two young men who grew up together in Dumfries, were among the 1,500 lives lost.

John Law Hume and Tom Mullin had been class mates at St Michael's school before going on to work on the ill-fated Titanic.
