Edinburgh council could cancel bus lane fines

Thousands of £60 traffic fines issued to drivers in Edinburgh could be cancelled.

It follows an outcry from motorists after five cameras were installed to monitor bus lanes in April.

Lesley Hinds, the city council's new transport leader, ordered a review and two cameras have been removed.

Officials are expected to clarify the reason later and explain what it will mean for fines already issued.
