Parts of Scotland hit by flooding

Heavy rain has brought flooding to parts of Edinburgh, the Lothians and the Borders.

Lothian and Borders Police have warned of possible flooding around the Water of Leith.

Holyrood Road near Edinburgh city centre and parts of the Trinity area are also badly affected. The city bypass closed earlier, but has since reopened.

In Musselburgh the River Esk burst its banks.
