Stress and anxiety could cause early death

The largest ever investigation into low-level mental health problems suggests it can shorten life expectancy.

Researchers from the University of Edinburgh and University College London studied data from 68,000 adults.

They found that even small amounts of stress and anxiety could lead to an early death

Dr Tom Russ, Alzheimer Scotland's clinical research fellow at the University of Edinburgh, spoke to BBC Radio Scotland's Hayley Millar.
