Aberdeen study looks at why we snack

What makes you reach for a biscuit mid-morning or a packet of crisps in the afternoon?

Researchers at Aberdeen University will study the environments and situations that can lead to snacking.

Dr David McMinn from the university's Rowett Institute of Nutrition and Health is recruiting volunteers for the study where participants will be monitored for one week.

They will track what they eat, their activity levels and how they are feeling at the time.
