Investment could keep hundreds of jobs at Longannet in Fife

A major overhaul is underway at the power station at Longannet in Fife.

For the past 40 years the coal-fired plant has generated around half of Scotland's electricity.

Scottish Power say the investment should keep it operating for many years to come.

BBC Scotland's environment correspondent David Miller has been looking at what the announcement means for the hundreds of people who rely on it for their jobs
