Scottish independence: Salmond aide apologises to 'ordinary mum'

First Minister Alex Salmond has instructed one of his aides to apologise to a mother from Clydebank who is backing the Better Together campaign.

Mr Salmond's political spokesman Campbell Gunn emailed a newspaper questioning Clare Lally's claim to be an "ordinary mum".
