Robert Buczek guilty of Eleanor Whitelaw murder

A 24-year-old man has been found guilty of murdering a pensioner in her home in Edinburgh.

Robert Buczek killed 85-year-old Eleanor Whitelaw, known as Norah, by stabbing her seven times in the neck with a pair of scissors at the house in Morningside.

Mrs Whitelaw died in hospital following the attack in July of last year. Sentencing on the Polish national has been deferred until the end of the month.
