Queen's Speech confirms more powers for Scotland

The Queen has been setting out details of the Scotland Bill during the state opening of Parliament.

Delivering the Queen's Speech in the House of Lords, she said the government would "bring forward legislation to secure a strong and lasting constitutional settlement, devolving wide-ranging powers to Scotland".

The Conservative government's plans for the coming year also included changes to voting on laws which affect only England, or England and Wales.
