Christianity 'extinct in a generation in some areas', says charity

The past two years have been 'catastrophic' for many Christians in the Middle East and parts of Africa, says a new report to be launched in Aberdeen.

A report by the Aid to the Church in Need charity describes what it calls "levels of persecution" in 22 countries and concludes that Christianity is on course for extinction in some areas within a generation.
