Aberdeen's Diamond Bridge opens to traffic

A third crossing over Aberdeen's River Don has opened to traffic following months of delays.

The Diamond Bridge, which links Danestone and Tillydrone, is designed to reduce traffic congestion in the city.

Issues with underground utilities meant the £22.3m project missed its initial deadline at the end of 2015.

Local primary school children chose the name from a shortlist.
