Patrick Harvie: 'There is no election alliance with SNP'

Partick Harvie has said no approach was made to the SNP in a bid to form a progressive alliance to keep the Scottish Conservatives from winning seats in the forthcoming general election.

The co-convener of the Scottish Green Party told BBC Scotland's Gordon Brewer that: "It wasn't something that the party had decided to do" and said a previous statement by fellow party co-convener Maggie Chapman was simply her personal opinion.
