Campbeltown Pipe Band helped make a hit

Paul McCartney's "Mull of Kintyre", co-written with Denny Laine, featured the local Campbeltown Pipe Band.

For a number of years it was the biggest-selling single of all time, and was the first UK single to sell more than two million copies.

Ian McKerral and John Lang Brown were among those who took part in the recording 40 years ago.
