WW2 Spitfire flies over Scotland for the NHS

A WW2 Spitfire has been flying over Scottish hospitals as a tribute to the NHS and those working on the frontline during the Covid-19 pandemic.

The plane, built 1944, took off from Cumbernauld Airport at 10:00 on Thursday morning on a route that took in 25 NHS sites as far north as Aberdeen and Inverness.
