Covid in Scotland: What is the five-level lockdown system?

Scotland is heading into a five-level system of restrictions in a bid to control the coronavirus.

Frist Minister Nicola Sturgeon set out the framework which is due to come into force on 2 November, with different part of the country at different levels depending on the infection rates.

The tiers range from Level 0, where there is low transmission but no vaccine, to Level 4, which comes close to a full lockdown.
