Labour's Johann Lamont backs UK-wide press regulation

Scottish Labour leader Johann Lamont says she sees no reason for having a Scotland-only press regulator.

She was speaking ahead of a Holyrood debate into the Leveson Inquiry report on press ethics and standards.

Ms Lamont told BBC Radio Scotland's Good Morning Scotland programme: "I am not convinced on why we need a separate regulator for Scotland. I think the problems have been identified across the press, across the whole of the UK."
