Dumfries hospital plans a 'major change'

The all-clear has been given to work up the business case for a new £200m hospital in Dumfries.

NHS Dumfries and Galloway's Jeff Ace said the Scottish government had been very supportive of taking the scheme forward.

He told BBC Scotland's Susan Black why a complete replacement of the present Dumfries Infirmary might be a simpler option than upgrading the current facility.
