Global food prices reach 20 year high

Global food prices have reached a 20 year high and there are concerns they could climb even further after Russia decided to extend its ban on wheat exports.

It follows the devastating recent fires there that destroyed many crops.

The United Nations' food agency has called a special meeting of policy makers to discuss the recent rise in prices.

The increase in wheat, meat and coffee prices are now affecting shoppers in the UK.
