War veterans 'more violent'

A sizeable number of soldiers who've come home from conflicts in Iraq and Afghanistan display increased levels of violence, according to a study by Kings College.

It suggests around one in eight were involved in assaults, domestic abuse and other violence soon after returning to the UK as a result of post-traumatic stress.

Former serviceman from Darren Martin from Llanelli told Oliver Hides of BBC Radio Wales how he suffered from his experiences in Kosovo, after the programme heard from Plaid Cymru MP Elfyn Llwyd who said he wasn't surprised by the findings.
