Federation of Small Businesses in Wales wants high street action

Calls have been made by the Federation of Small Businesses in Wales for a clear vision for retail development on the high street to help recovery.

Iestyn Davies acknowledged discussions by the Welsh government but asked if there would be "an overall strategy" for retail in town centres in Wales.

In an interview with Felicity Evans on BBC Radio Wales he called on the Welsh government to issue more frequent and better research on the Welsh economy to inform business decisions.

A Welsh government spokesperson said it sees town and city centres as the heart of sustainable local communities.
