Gwent Police profile: Domestic violence is force priority

As of last Friday each Welsh police force has a new Police and Crime commissioner in charge of the force budget and with the power to change the policing priorities.

BBC Radio Wales reporters are profiling each of Wales' forces this week.

In Gwent, Ian Johnston, a former Gwent Police officer and an Independent candidate was elected.

Currently, one of the main priorities for the Chief Constable of Gwent is tackling domestic violence and reporter Jordan Davies has taken a closer look at the issue in the force area.
