Traditional terraced Welsh home's modern makeover

The terraced house, a familiar fixture on Welsh hillsides and in many towns, could get a modern facelift.

The terraced house will have a revamp to improve its environmental efficiency.

The Royal Society of Architects in Wales will announce the winner of a competition to design the new terraced house on Thursday.

FVal Williams, from Twynyrodyn, Merthyr Tydfil, speaking from the house she was born in, and Andrew Sutton, president of the Royal Society of Architects in Wales, discussed their future with Felicity Evans on Good Morning Wales.
