Derek Bellis: Journalist still making headlines after seven decades

North Wales journalist Derek Bellis has just turned 80 - but has no intention of putting down his reporter's notepad.

He has now spent seven decades covering the news for all the major London papers, from the Beatles visit to Bangor in the 1960s to the Prince of Wales investiture in Caernarfon.

He remains a regular sight on the press benches of crown courts, covering virtually every major case in north Wales for generations.

BBC Wales' Roger Pinney went to meet him.
