National Museum Wales roof fall worker injured

A staff member has been taken to hospital after he was injured in a roof fall at the National Museum Cardiff.

Emergency services were called to the city centre building at 14:42 BST on Tuesday.

National Museum Wales said the buildings department employee was involved in an accident while undertaking routine maintenance and there will be a full investigation.

The ambulance service said he suffered head, back and leg injuries.
