Eisteddfod: Welsh learner finalist Martyn Croydon

The Welsh learner of the year will be announced at the National Eisteddfod in Denbigh on Wednesday.

There are four finalists, including Martyn Croydon - originally from Kidderminster in Worcestershire - who now lives near Pwllheli, Gwynedd.

He fell in love with Llŷn on family holidays, and knew he wanted to come to Wales to live and work.

He started learning Welsh using books and reading online, but after moving to Wales he enrolled for lessons in Pwllheli and now teaches Welsh to adults.

He spoke to BBC Radio Wales.
