Merthyr Tydfil EE call centre jobs' boost welcomed

The creation of up to 200 jobs in an area with high unemployment in south Wales has been welcomed by business experts.

Dr Kath Ringwald, from the business school at University of South Wales, said an influx of that many jobs could only be "good news" for Merthyr Tydfil.

Mobile phone company EE announced the customer services and sales jobs at its call centre .

Fifteen apprenticeships are also being offered via College Merthyr Tydfil.

Dr Ringwald spoke to Felicity Evans.
