Early signs of autumn already here, National Trust claims

Butterflies and red holly berries are signs that autumn is already here at the beginning of July, according to the National Trust.

Following a stormy and wet winter followed by an early spring and summer, Britain is racing "helter skelter" through the seasons, the organisation says.

Gwen Potter, area ranger for the National Trust in Ceredigion, told BBC Radio Wales about the early signs of autumn she had seen.
